RPT=Registered Piano Technician It is surprising to hear an RPT saying that but think a little: References and examples of the tech's work count a lot. It is "something" to hang your hat on, but not a complete measure of the tech. Passage of the tests proves that you have at least a certain level of skill. RPT status is given to those PTG members who have demonstrated a minimum level of competence through three test administered through the Exam boards established throughout the guild. ![]()
